USDC Networks

USDC is issued on multiple chains, and the wallet label alone does not tell you which one you're holding. Circle publishes the contract addresses — that is the source to check.

what the page answers

How to confirm which network your USDC is on, and why it matters.

Contract addresses are read from Circle's developer documentation (developers.circle.com, checked 2026-10-31).

Direct answer

Check the contract, not the label

A wallet showing “USDC” may hold the token on any of the networks the issuer supports. The reliable check is the contract address on that network — Circle publishes them, and the contract is what the chain actually recognizes.

For a mix, the chain decides the fee line and payout timing, and it decides whether the receiving service accepts your transfer at all.

Network checks

Contract matches the network
Compare against the issuer's published address for that chain.
Service states the chain
“USDC” without a network name is ambiguous — confirm support explicitly.
Fee lines separated
Service fee versus chain fee: both exist, confirm who pays each.
Payout address network
Receiving network must match the sending network or the transfer fails.
reserves unknown
This site does not assert USDC reserve backing or ratios — those are issuer disclosures with their own dates, and we don't carry them without a dated source.

source_state: Contract-address claims follow Circle developer documentation (checked 2026-10-31); reserve data not asserted. (sources checked 2026-10-31)

Network confirmed

Read the fee structures, then continue to the handoff screen for the handoff destination.
